CHUTESPACE is a unique miniature gallery created in 2013 from the former Griffith Library after-hours book return chute by artists Jeffree Skewes and Kerry Shepherdson.
Artist-run and volunteer-managed, CHUTESPACE showcases 12 four-week mini exhibitions alongside M16's main gallery annual program. Artists from all disciplines are welcome to apply, and exhibitions are free.
All artist proposals are considered, and exhibitions are free to the artist.

Illuminated daily from 9am to 9pm by a centrally positioned LED light. The space is secured with tempered glass and lockable doors, with keys provided to exhibitors. Access is via a rear door inside the brick chamber.

Artworks in CHUTESPACE are available for purchase on enquiry and will sales attract a 30% commission, payable to M16 Artspace.
