Friday 1 September - Sunday 24 September

Opening Thursday 31 August 2023, 6pm - 8pm

We all judge people by the first moment we see them. We shouldnโ€™t, but we do. Itโ€™s only when you read the book or get to know someone through conversation that you can understand who this person is.

Carol Cooke is the author of Improv Embroidery, co-curator of the book Exuberance: An Embroiderers Perspective, and is also a full-time contemporary embroidery artist. She comments on observations of life as she sees it, through stitch. Hopefully a moment with her work will give the viewer a moment to ponder.
