M16 Artspace 2026 EOFY Fundraiser
Because art is for all of us!

Before 30 June, you can help ensure that art at M16 Artspace remains accessible, ambitious, and for everybody. This June, we’re raising $6,000 to upgrade essential exhibition equipment and technology.

For over 40 years, M16 Artspace has been at the heart of Canberra’s visual arts community.

Each year, we platform hundreds of artists and welcome thousands of visitors across our galleries, studios, and programs. With your generous support, in 2025 we supported 702 exhibiting artists to deliver 51 exhibitions across our galleries and spaces and welcomed over 22,000 visitors. We also invested in new programs, celebrated our 40th anniversary, and expanded opportunities for artists.

We’ve spent the past year strengthening our programs, supporting artists, and making M16 more inclusive and sustainable. To keep this energy alive, we need to invest in the gear that makes creativity, community, and culture possible.

Your support will help us:

  • Improve lighting and display systems so artwork is shown at its best

  • Upgrade digital and technical equipment for contemporary and multimedia work

  • Create a more accessible and engaging experience for audiences with hearing equipment

These small upgrades are critical in enabling opportunities for artists and diverse audiences and ensures we can continue building a space where people see themselves reflected.

Every contribution brings us closer to our goal

  • $2,000 or more will enable us to purchase a new laptop  

  • $1,500 will support us to invest in a hearing loop system

  • $1,000 will provide us with one new ERCO LED gallery light  

  • $300 or more will help us upgrade our electric drill kit

  • $150 will allow us to invest in a new media player  

  • $50 or more supports installation materials  

  • $16 or more supports essential exhibition materials

We are grateful for your support of any value and this appreciation will be recognised on our donors' screen in the M16 Artspace foyer for one year.
