Friday 6 May - Sunday 22 May 2022

Propagate examines the everydayness, the labour and social relationships of gardens, through small works relating to the body and drawings. Sharon and Nellie Peoples each begin with dialogues between local landscapes and the practices as a maker. There are many complex processes that can be employed to increase the number of plants, as there are in these artistsโ€™ individual making practices. Propagate reflects the building of conversations within individual work, as well as each another. The artists exchange ideas as they would cuttings, seeds and root divisions from their gardens, as well as planting ideas into each anotherโ€™s design thinking.
