Intrigued by material, Elizabeth Fickenโ€™s exhibition Fade Away analyses and explores the transient properties of clay by texturing the raw material to match natural, coral forms in intricate detail. Adopting contrasting colours to parallel the rich textures of our oceanโ€™s ecosystems, Fade Away further acts as a point of consideration for the delicacy of the ocean and its dependency on humans.
