Testamur 8 is Canberra Art Workshop’s annual exhibition that celebrates the creative time we spent together and the art we made during the last year.
A testamur is the outcome of an educational experience that is evidence of that learning.
The annual Canberra Art Workshop (CAW) member’s exhibition Testamur 8, is a display of artworks created in, or inspired by CAW events – workshops, courses and art groups.
CAW is a community of artists, both amateur and professional, from the Canberra region. At CAW events artists can try new art mediums and styles. This exhibition, including landscapes, printmaking, portraiture, still life artwork and more is a wonderful showcase of the creativity of CAW and a reflection of the creative growth of our members.

The Canberra Art Workshop (CAW), located in the M16 Artspace, Griffith and the Belconnen Arts Centre, is a thriving studio hub which welcomes all artists, from beginners to practicing professionals. All have a genuine passion for art and learning.
The association’s busy weekly program includes a variety of self-directed art groups, tutored courses and workshops. These are conducted by art professionals focusing on life drawing, portraiture; experimental art using a wide range of media, drawing, painting, pastel, mixed media, watercolour, and printmaking. CAW’s exhibitions display high quality paintings and drawings and the occasional sculpture.
