Still reflects the insular yet chaotic experience during the COVID-19 experience. Shields’ artworks developed as a study of objects and ideas whilst working from home.
Shields’ artworks fall between stark, ungrounded and isolated still-life, through to the idea of returning to freeing landscapes.
Still is Ellen Shields’ second solo exhibition.
