Liam Fallon

30 April - 16 May 2021

Transmission, the latest body of work by Liam Fallon, seeks to explore the construction of narrative through often-overlooked remnants of suburban life. Through portraying the overlooked, hidden and ignored aspects of the Australian urban landscape, Fallonโ€™s works highlight the stories held within ubiquitous household items.

All works within Transmission have been captured in situ, in no more than a handful of sessions. In this regard, Fallonโ€™s creative process enables the paintings to become records of time. As the artist interacts with items over a short period of time, clarity and connectedness emerges. The paintings themselves hold character and preserve a moment of interaction between artist and object.
