About
M16’s First Nations Residency is a six-week studio and mentorship program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, culminating in a four-week exhibition.
Guided by First Nations leadership and cultural exchange, the residency provides studio space, mentorship, financial support, and professional development opportunities, creating avenues for artists to grow their practice, build industry connections, and share new work with the community.
Megalo Print Studio is generously providing tuition in screenprinting and a 12-month studio membership to Wilay Designs.
Our First Nations Artist in Residence receives:
$1,500 stipend
Studio space for six weeks
4-week exhibition at M16 Artspace
