2023 Residency Program
About
In 2023, M16 Artspace welcomed one successful applicant to participate in nine-month artist residency. M16 Artspace provided a dedicated studio for the term of the residency, and an allocated exhibition slot in the following calendar year, free of charge. By supporting access to resources and facilities, M16 enables the selected artist to further develop their artistic practice and produce a new or ongoing body of work.
The 2023 recipient for our Residency Program is Saskia Haalebos.

Having a studio space, the validation of my practice, and being in amongst the thriving art community has enabled me to reflect on what I've done so far, make for a number of exhibitions and prizes, and plan for my creative future.
